Island Tech is proud to participate in this year's Waiheke Youth Art Awards.
The winners have now been awarded their prizes and we wish to extend our respect and admiration to all who entered.
Waiheke Youth Art Awards Ngā Tohu Toi Rangatahi o Waiheke is a competition for all under 18 youth who live on Waiheke Island. It consists of a number of categories, each it’s own award. Each award has a prize sponsored by a local business or individual. Non-medium specific categories were open to all media. All entries were considered for the Rotary Waiheke Youth Art Award - prize of $1000
Our category was specifically for digital art and had a prize of $200.00 to spend in-store. Congratulations to:
WINNER: Jemila Vanderput
Island Tech Award for Digital Art
"Evelyn" and "Avery"
There will be an awards ceremony and exhibition opening held at 5pm Monday 25th September at Waiheke Adult Learning Centre, Oneroa (Artworks complex, opposite the Waiheke Library)
We will be present at the awards ceremony tonight in Oneroa to hand over our contribution!
We are looking forward to helping Jemila pick something out. I could highly recommend our Bluetooth speaker range or perhaps look at a new microphone to get Jemila and their friends singing!
